Destino (destino.gt) is a site for finding and booking places to stay in Guatemala. It is run by Eleva, the system the businesses listed here work with. By using Destino you accept these terms.
What Destino is
Destino shows hotels and places to stay from Guatemalan businesses that use Eleva. Each business publishes its own information: photos, descriptions, prices, availability and policies.
Destino does not own or manage the places. We are not a travel agency or a payment intermediary.
Your booking is with the business
When you book, you do so on the business's own booking page. The agreement is between you and the business, and its conditions apply: payment method, cancellation, check-in and check-out times, and house rules. Check them on its page and, if in doubt, ask the business before you confirm.
Bookings on Destino are not paid online today: you pay the business directly, on arrival or as it tells you. Destino charges you no fees or extra charges.

Prices
Prices are shown in quetzales and include VAT (IVA) and, for places to stay, the INGUAT tourism tax, unless the page says otherwise. The US dollar figure is an approximation for reference only.
The price that counts is the one you see when you confirm on the business's booking page.
Businesses' information
Each business is responsible for the accuracy of what it publishes. We do our best to keep information current, but we cannot guarantee it is free of errors.
If something doesn't match what was published, tell the business first. If it isn't resolved, you can let us know through eleva.gt.
Reviews
Ratings come from surveys the business sends after each stay, and a place shows its rating once it has at least three. A comment is only published if the person who wrote it agreed.
Using the site
You may use Destino to search and book for yourself, or for others with their permission. Bulk copying of content, commercial use without permission and attempts to disrupt the site are not allowed.
Liability
Destino is not responsible for the services businesses provide or for what happens during your stay; that is each business's responsibility. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Guatemala's consumer protection law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. They are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guatemala.
