A full day at Lagunas del Peñón, an eco water park in Escuintla at the foot of Cerro Mirandilla, with views of the Agua and Fuego volcanoes. Swim in three natural spring-water lagoons (23–25 °C) with giant slides, kids' slides and water play, a waterfall and palm islands. There are forest trails and a lookout, plus two restaurants and two kiosks serving breakfast from 7:00 a.m.

Open Tuesday to Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closed Mondays except public holidays). Arrive any time during the day.

Prices: youth and adults (12+) Q150; children 5–11 (up to 1.40 m) Q100. Children under 5 enter free and need no booking. Seniors (60+, with ID): Q100, applied when you pay at the park. Children taller than 1.40 m pay the adult price.

Before you come: no outside food or drinks and no pets; swimwear is required in the lagoons. Bring your towel; there are changing rooms and lockers (Q20).
